It’s only Monday morning, but it will be tough for anyone to outdo Rep. Mike Stone’s explanation of the secret meeting he ran last week for House Republicans on video poker:
“I didn’t run anything except the agenda.”
As reporter Andy Curliss of the News & Observer explains in his report on the matter, Stone is a Sanford convenience store owner who already profuits from video poker-like machines in his store.
Sounds like Stone may want to get a little ethics refresher before he gets much further into his freshperson year at the G.A.
